Programme information

Marketing-Finance is the first track of its kind to combine marketing and finance and to do so from the perspective of international business. Drawing on the outstanding resources available at Maastricht University, you will learn about financial decision-making, product development, relationship marketing and shareholder value. You can also opt to put your knowledge into practice during an internship at the end of the year.

What will you learn?

In small classes you will gain a thorough theoretical understanding of all aspects, marketing, finance, and especially their interplay. This will enable you to develop innovative financial products and assess the risks of these products in relation to market returns. Through case studies and an optional internship, you will be able to put your knowledge into practice.

At the end of the track, you will be able to:

  • understand and analyse both: the psychology as well as the financial side of product development
  • market products and translate the benefits into added financial value
  • take part in strategic decision-making at a senior level
